Vacations are considered by many to be a luxury. Simply travelling to another country is both taxing on the wallet and, in the current circumstances, unfeasible. We at VRoamy aim to alleviate this problem by introducing Virtual Reality to Tourism. The platform we are creating will in essence be a video sharing platform where content creators will be able to create 360-degree tours around their local area and our users will be able to view that content through an app on their phone for free. The platform enables people who otherwise might not be able to visit other countries an opportunity to visit their favourite places and look at their surroundings as though they are in the location itself.
